Newcomers Health

For more than three decades, the International Institute has been a partner with the San Francisco Department of Public Health to provide trained medical interpreters in minority languages to serve refugees, asylees and immigrants. The Newcomers Health Program is a clinic-based and community-based health program of the San Francisco Department of Public Health, implemented in collaboration with IIBA, the Refugee Medical Clinic and Ocean Park Health Center.

Our mission is to promote the Health and well-being of refugees, asylees and immigrants throughout San Francisco.
