Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are an indispensable part of the Institute. Below are brief descriptions of the volunteer positions in our various programs and departments. Note that we take great care in matching volunteer skills with the Institute's needs. We will ask for your resume, and that you come in for an orientation. Both you and the relevant staff member can determine if it's a good fit. If you find a volunteer position that sounds right for you and you would like more information, please contact the appropriate office.

Please note some positions also require a resume and cover letter, and have specific procedures on how to apply. Please see specific volunteer job descriptions below.

We also seek attorneys who can join our pro bono panel and participate in immigration clinics, provide technical assistance, and/or take on a pro bono case. Please email the appropriate office to inquire about our volunteer and internship opportunities.
