Volunteer

IIBA would not be what it is today without the help of our many dedicated volunteers over the years. We’re always looking for volunteers, whether it’s for one of our many onetime events around the Bay Area or for a short or long-term commitment at one of our offices. Everyone is welcome, from volunteer attorneys seeking immigration experience to law students looking for an internship to members of the community who just want to help.

IIBA’s Legal Department invites volunteer attorneys, law students, and community members to work on family-based immigration cases, applications for victims of domestic violence and other serious crimes, and citizenship applications. We provide high quality training and supervision to volunteers committed to helping our diverse group of clients. We also seek attorneys who can join our pro bono panel and participate in immigration clinics, provide technical assistance, and/or take on pro bono cases.
